Went with my parents to Johore yesterday. Eveytime we went in was to fill up the oil tank of our car. The oil was cheap compared to Singapore. And one of the ways to save and spend in a budget-ful way is to compare prices then making the final choice. That's what my parents had been preaching ever since we moved over to HDB flat.
We went to Giant hypermarket. Along there, there was 2 carpark. 1 was mostly full. The other was empty with few cars parking. My dad drove into the empty carpark and let me test drive. Hahaes. The feeling was so great! Finally was able to drive. I got a feeling of it. And as a beginner, I know where my weakness lies. The steering wheel must be turn several times before you get the desired position. That is a tough part. And only will it be perfected over the duration of experience.
The other part was the accelerator pedal. I cannot apply too much pressure on it. Just a little pressure, the car might be speeding at a high speed. It applies to the brake pedal as well. Dad told me that an expert driver will drive smoothly and when he/she brakes, the passenger might not feel the braking of the car. Parking of car was tough too. There are too many spots that cannot be seen if the car was being park properly into the box. Besides I'm a newbie. My judgement is poor. And I need constant practice.
After the test drive, my dad switch over and drive us to the 1st carpark. We went into Giant and boughts tidbits, daily cooking necessities. My sis got a new pair of shoes and a bag. As for me, I bought kawaii handphone accessories. Hees. The previous "heart" one has spoiled. Sob. Its irreplaceable. Totally damaged.
