Yay!! I passed my ADT. I wake up early this morning, went to the temple with my mom at Victoria street. We prayed really sincerely. I throw the "stone pieces" on the floor 4 times with the help of my mom 2 times. Before the last attempt I succeed in getting 1 facing up and the other down. Then we went back to bedok. We ate "Chwee queh" and my favourite "orh nee". Hees. Then we went on home. Took a short rest before my parents dropped me off at Eunos to meet my instructor at 11.45am.
Then I drove all the way to eunos circuit. I practiced the usual course. Made a few mistakes on over turning. Other than that its fine. Then we proceed on to the main road at 1 plus. Before returning to Gate 1 at 1.23pm. My instructor then asked me to do vertical parking in between the cars. I was so scared. Fearing that I might hit either cars. But with his guidance, I did it. My first real vertical parking. ^^ He then gave me instructions for the later test.
I went into the "No Entry" room. Passed my PDL, NRIC and test document to the traffic officer.
There were 18 of us waiting to do the test. We had a pick and call selection. I got selected at the 6th round. Road 2, 98. Tester, a malay. My tester and me walked over to my vehicle. That's when the real nightmare begins...
I got into the car. Buckled up my seat belt. Check both side and rear mirror as the tester is placing the "On test" plate on the car. He got in and asked me to start the engine before i can proceed to do whatever i want. I started the engine. Shifted to gear 1 and released my handbrake. Then I manoeuvred out of the parking lot into the circuit. I did directional change, S- course, Crank-course, Slope, Parallel parking, Vertical Parking and E-stop. What the heck. Its everything. Lols. I got the E-stop before we proceeded to the main road. He says my reaction is slow. Zzz..
To cut my detail short, below is my test assessment checklist.
S course: score 22
Crank course: score 27
Directional Change: core 15
Parallel: 42
Vertical: 23
Turn steering wheel whilst vehicle is stationary: -2
E-stop (incorrect technique): -2
Fail to check blind spot: -4
Number of Demerit Points: 12
After the test, I watched a video on safety driving then proceeded to the 2nd floor to make my payment for my certified license.
