Had a great outing with my family today. In the afternoon, we drove to Bedok Reservior to had our lunch at Pasar Makan @Bedok Reservior market. I've taken a fancy to the malay nasi lemak being served at a particular stall there. It was superb! Another reason we went over there was because my dad had to chat with my aunt in regards about the new burial location for my grandma as the old cemetrial ground at Mount vernon rd was to be exhuamed and made way for a new development. Anyway i don't know much about the details.

Then after that small chat we headed down to toa payoh for a little stroll and found that there's nothing worth staying for so we headed down to Serangoon to pay a visit to my mom's sister. We spent an hour there chit chatting and exchanging recent details of our daily lives then we say our goodbyes and headed down to Nex to have our dinner. My mom wanted to dine at the Food republic but i didn't want to as the food being served there was not as enticing to that of the other restaurants situated at the 2nd and 3rd floor. In the end we settled for Siam kitchen. It was our first experience at the restaurant. The food was yummy but sour and spicy. And it was expensive as well. But nevertheless, it was a once in a lifetime experience that we'll commemorate.
